" Whats that Skippy? A road train convoy loaded with ocean rowing boats! "

03 Apr 2009 12:57 BST
The majority of the boats have now arrived safely in Geraldton having been transported overland from Fremantle by road train convoy – a world first without doubt. This delivery exercise went without hitch thanks to the organisation skills of Peter Sutcliffe of Ardrossan Customs Services and Ron Currie of Bonnie Rock Transport, together with the professionalism of the road train drivers Ron, Rusty and Paul, and the precise crane driving skills demonstrated by Geraldton Cranes. Take a look at the photos and video of the boats arrival in Geraldton and witness this unique event.
